What is Mad Mile?
Mad Mile is a neighbourhood café with big heart, good tunes, and damn fine coffee. It’s where locals pull up for their daily pour, a cheeky toastie, and maybe a chat that runs a little longer than planned. We’re all about slow mornings, good food, and the kind of energy that makes you want to stay awhile.

“Mad Mile” nods to a stretch of road once known to locals for its character and chaos. It’s a wink to the past and a promise of energy, connection, and a little bit of mischief—just like us.

Who’s Behind It?
This corner is proudly brought to life by Marija and Dragan Sestic, the husband-and-wife duo who originally opened Dramanti Wynnum back in 2014. After stepping away in 2024 for a well-earned break (and some global café-hopping), they’ve come back to do it all again—this time, reimagined.

What It Used to Be
Once upon a time (aka 2014–2024), this spot was known as Dramanti Wynnum—a much-loved local hub slinging specialty coffee before it was cool. We made memories, built friendships, and helped grow Wynnum’s café culture from the ground up. It was never just a business. It was our second home—and yours too.

Why Did We Come Back?
Because it never really stopped feeling like home. The community, the memories, the regulars asking, “When are you coming back?”—it all pulled us in. So here we are, back behind the machine and buzzing with purpose.

Where We’re Headed
Mad Mile is our next chapter. Still family-run, still coffee-obsessed, but now with a fresh name, a bold new menu, and a bigger vision. We’re leaning into what matters: people, place, and that magic that happens when you feel like you belong. We’re here for the long haul—and the long chats.
